Unfortunately due to an incoming deluge we’ve had to cancel today’s event with Moon Goose. Gutted to miss out on sweet sweet music, pizza and screen printing – but we’ll try again next month. We wish all the very best to Moon Goose, who are heading to Whāingaroa for their next gig very soon! Thanks for being so keen to play in our māra and share your gift with the community 💚

What’s happening at the Dignan Street Community Garden?

It’s great to see many of you signing up and becoming an official member of our garden. Don’t forget that membership is open to anyone, whether you’re a regular volunteer or just an occasional visitor, and allows you to harvest whatever you’d like whenever you’d like! The small membership fee also helps us keep on top of purchases like seed, tools and irrigation equipment – vital ingredients in our recipe of success. You can sign up here.

This weekend’s sunshine was a welcome repreive after days of wet weather, but isn’t it lovely knowing that our māra’s thirst has been quenched and our tanks are brimming with water? Perfect for our newly planted seedlings, too, who will all have bedded down nicely into their new homes.
