TT meeting about the upcoming public meeting on 23rd

Penthouse Manager

We met with Ian the manager of the Penthouse. Their rate for community groups is:

• 30 seat cinema with DVD capability, off-peak (e.g. Sun 2000, Mon night), $200 ($6.66/seat)
• 127 seat cinema, no DVD, $1016 ($8/seat)
• 168 seat cinema × 2

They have to send groups who are having a movie screening a pamphlet on the group travelling by Stagecoach bus as a condition of the resource consent for their new carpark; even at $1 return almost no-one takes them up on it.
