Tom gave report on hub meeting

Tom gave outcome of last public meeting:

• now have 50 people on mailing list
• 15 people were interested in Marc's food group
• 11 people were interested in permaculture course
• 2 new volunteers (who have been added to contact database)

Dawn gave report on meeting with Fiona and last public meeting

Next Public Meeting

• Barbara has spoken to Andrew
• We want something practical for people to take away
• Form groups to talk about energy efficiency?
• TT branded brochure on energy efficiency to take away?
• Larger venue

Edwina to check size of Resource Centre

Barbara to ask Brooklyn School about their hall

Tom to send e-mail calling for volunteers to deliver flyers

Steering Group Time Commitment

Discussed asking others to join the steering group—consensus

Typical workload is

• 4 hours/week (work varies depending on skill set; includes e-mails)
• + steering group meeting 2 hours/month
• + public meeting 3 hours/month (2 hours + set up and tidy up)
• + couple of adhoc meetings, 2 hours/month (including hub meeting)

Workloads

• Dawn working as above and at her time limit
• Edwina doing as much as she can
• Tom as above and spending as much time as he can on TT
• Barbara as above and contributing as much as she can

Other

• Joining hub mailing list is encouraged. Low traffic list.
• Steering Group to rotate presence at hub meetings both Barbara and Edwina want to attend next one
