Next Plant/seed/cutting swap meeting will be held at Shirley Bayne's house in Maungatapere on Sunday, 11 July from 10am.   Shirley has a lovely garden with a wide variety of edible plants and is a very informed gardener with free range chooks, ducks and worm farms.  Now is a good time to collect scion wood and take cuttings and Shirley will have some wood available from her trees.  Feel free to bring any along from your own garden as well.  People have been asking me about grafting so I will have some information available and will give a demonstration on one of Shirley's trees.  A plate for morning tea will be nice but not necessary.
