Ooooby Box, not just unveiled, but delivered

Yesterday was momentous. If you have been following Ooooby news, you'll know that a number of people have been beavering away on this one for the last three months. Well yesterday we delivered, and it was Fun! (3.5 min video)

A huge thanks to Will for the Ooooby website - truly awesome. To Christy for steadily building the relationships with local growers through the Ooooby stall at the Grey Lynn Farmers market. To Karen for the attention to detail that has been crucial all along the way - and those smiles! To Anthea for bringing Izzy to come and play with us and for holding the vision of a workplace where it's not only OK for children to be there, but for making it easy to embrace them in that space. To Giulio for the recipes that went in the box. To all the other people who have contributed so generously all along the way. And to Pete who's one-pointedness and energy is legendary. It's an honour and a pleasure to be working with you all.

Sometime in the next week or two the sorting hub will be a craftily engineered shipping container. A giant Ooooby Box is about to be delivered onto a site in Grey Lynn, to handle large volumes of produce as we make a mark in the quiet food revolution that is taking hold all over the world, and bringing food closer to home.
