Invercargill Green Drinks

Green Drinks have been happening in more than 65 countries around the World, and in 15 towns in New Zealand. Every month people who work in the environmental field or are passionate about sustainability and the environment, meet up at informal social sessions known as Green Drinks. There is no organisation, no membership, and no lobbying for causes. It's usually just people getting together for a chat although occassionally there may be a speaker for 10 or 15 minutes introducing some interesting, positive topic.

In Invercargill, we are meeting every last Thursday of the month, upstairs at Zookeepers at 5.30 till 7pm, or late.

April: Donna Peterson from WasteNet will talk briefly about the introduction of the new recycling system in Invercargill - what will it be like? - (to be confirmed) followed by the usual informal networking.

Come on your own, or with a friend, and just say, "Are you green?" and we will introduce you to whoever is there and make you welcome.

Location / Venue:
Zookeepers Cafe, Tay Street, Invercargill
