Sustainable Whanganui Trust's March gumboot event, gardens and wetlands

A “gumboot workshop” has been planned for Wednesday 30th March, visiting Sister Noelene Landrigan’s gardening and wetland projects, at the Josephite Retreat Centre.

The plan is to bring your picnic tea to have on the lawn at 6 pm, (inside is back up plan) families welcome, followed by a guided tour/walk around with Sister Nolene to see garden, fruit trees, wet lands, worm farm etc. Then those that can stay on will have the opportunity to have a discussion about Community gardens, permiculture methods, etc in the meeting room.
