Minutes of Meeting 8th March 2016 Pt. Chevalier Bowling Club

Pizza Oven -  One more working bee needed to complete.  Date?.  2 more buckets of “real clay” needed. Opening date to be notified by e-mail.

Repair Café – Some confusion over date of 1st event as conflicting dates have been publicised. To be on April 3rd as some repairers have been given that date.

Movie night – Movie on recovery – still looking for suitable venue.  Homestead suggested and Walter is to check availability.  Sunday April 10th at 7p.m.

E-Mail notices    -  Questions were asked about the distribution of notices about meetings and events.  These should go to the the widest distribution list to try and generate better attendances.

Food is Free Glen Eden Festival.

Saturday March 19th 10 – 2p.m. at Glen Eden Community Centre, 44 Glendale Road.   Eat, learn, grow. Cooking and preserving workshops. Talks, seeds and seedlings. Kids activities. www.FoodisFree.nz

Presentation on Atamai (Common Sense) Village by Rafaele Joudry

Village is located near Motueka. House sections and houses are privately owned with some shared commons areas. Designed for a settlement of at least 200 people.  There has been limited takeup to date and this presentation was designed to attract people to move there. www.atamaivillage.com
