Transition Waiheke mulled wine meeting
I wanted to share this, just because it was such a relief in some ways to go to a meeting and come away feeling relaxed. We got together around 7pm, and the fire gave a lovely cosy warmth at Jan and Sue's home. Sue and I brewed some mulled wine, though she was unable to share it with us, as she is due in a few weeks. Then we gathered around the dining table with snacks and glasses of water and cups of tea.
We had no agenda, no checking in, no writing of minutes. The conversation included everything it needed to. It honoured all those present, one having just returned from Europe, another being new to the Transition Waiheke group, though well known by us all. I was able to share some of the things that have been happening in the transition whirlwind I live in, and we talked about everything from pig hunting at the Eco village, to group politics and concensus decision making, and much in between.
