Pathways to Sustainability - What Matters Most to New Zealanders

A free workshop, Pathways to Sustainability, What Matters Most to
NZers", sponsored by Statistics New Zealand and Anew NZ, is being
held in Auckland on the 29th of August and Wellington on the 9th of
September. Information on it is attached with this email.

Participants will be assisting directly in the development of a
National set of sustainable development indicators by Statistics
New Zealand. They seek public views on sustainable development and
the topics that should be included in its measurement.
(seewww.stats.govt.nz/environment/environment/sustainable-
development/default.htm)

In addition participants will be examining wealth, wellbeing,
sustainability and progress - and contributing directly to
developing a national vision for the country through the project
"What Matters Most to New Zealanders". (see www.anewnz.org.nz)

These workshop outcomes will be used to inform and influence
government decision makers and stimulate public/community engagement.

You are invited to attend, on a first-come-first-serve basis, by
registering on www.anewnz.org.nz. Please indicate, by separate
email (anewnz@anewnz.org.nz), if you are able to stay for the full
workshop, as it includes free lunch.
