Welcome to the Food & Gardening Subgroup of Transition Town Brooklyn

The Food & Gardening subgroup has established two ‘share-gardens’: this is where two Brooklyn residents who are no longer able to do much gardening have volunteered their gardens for other people to use.

A community orchard has been established in Harrison Street. The first stage was planted in August 2009 with stage two tree planting taking place in August 2010.
