Biocapacity Working Group

Biocapacity is the measure of the region's biological resources and its capacity to support its population.  Currently, the local population consumes far more resources than the region can provide. A portion of the vision for our town's future follows:

Towns’ contributions towards resource generation are scaled according to people’s Ecological Footprint and exceed its resource requirements in order to restore past resource degradation and achieve bioregional and towns’ long-term resilience.
