Oppertunity for a couple to live on a permaculture property in Wellington
Submitted by Daryl on 14 December 2009 - 11:39am | Blog entryHi,
We have somehow managed to purchase a 2 acre property at the begining of the Akatarawa road in Upper Hutt.
The property, while allready provides some produce is to be transformed into a permaculture example property and eventually an education center for the hutt valley.
The oppertunity that stands is that there is a second dwelling on the property, a 2 bedroom flat. It has its own wood burner and is tidy and we are willing to ecofy it as the property develops. » Read more

Every time I do a Q and A after a college lecture, somebody says (with a fanfare of indignation) — so as to reveal their own brilliance in contrast to my foolishness — “You haven’t said anything about overpopulation!” » Read more
Book and DVD list populators wanted.
Submitted by Daryl on 23 September 2009 - 5:42pm | Blog entryThere is in the making a book and dvd list on this web site.
I ask for people with some time and passion on their hands to help poulate it.
What I have been doing is finding the books on www.fishpond.co.nz and then copying and pasting the info into the book list. For the book image, right click on the image and choose save image location, then in the book list, click browse, then right click paste where it is asking for the file name. Works for me.
Big thanks for anyone putting in some time to initially populate the list.
