Soil focused backyard food production workshop with Dirt Doctor

Hibernation season is over and the air is starting to smell like Spring!  Now is the time to prepare your beds, make your seaweed sprays and start those seedlings to ensure a fresh bounty of veggies all summer long.  Imagine all the sweet fresh tomatoes, crispy beans, crunchy carrots, juicy strawberries, plump peaches.... It's enough to make one salivate... and grab the gumboots!

For those of you wishing to expand your skills and knowledge to give your garden a boost, Dirt Doctor will be leading a  weekend Urban Eden workshop on September 17th & 18th teaching sustainable food production methods focused on getting greater yields, healthier plants, and growing fertile living soil!  Spread the word!

The workshop will cover the following topics (schedule and contact details can be found below):

Learn techniques that use your food and garden waste to create biologically rich compost. Discover the links between compost, mulching and a healthy soil that can become more fertile season after season.

Fantastic!

Wish we could come to this, funds and prior engagements will be prohibitive unfortunately. Would be great because we will be starting up a new garden this year. Is the info available in book or video form?

Thanks
Cathy
