Neighbours Day Aotearoa, Wellington 2012

Kia ora,

Neighbours Day Aotearoa, (NDA) on the 24th and 25th March 2012. Currently, I am coordinating the initiative at a local level, on behalf of Wellington City Council, I'm in the process of connecting with various groups across the city to enable groups and individuals to take part in NDA 2012.

NDA is a nationwide annual initiative to encourage everyone to get to know their neighbour and build stronger communities, it’s not about big events, but encouraging people to get together and plan their own events in every street, neighbourhood or apartment block.

NDA will contribute to building community resilience, helping with emergency preparedness, enhancing individual and community wellbeing and giving a sense of belonging.
