New to Transition Towns and a Question?

Good Morning all!!

After much prodding I have finally joined Transistion Towns, As I am new to this site I thought I would post a question. I have a keen interest in Eco Development and Technologies and was wondering if anyone can point us to eco developments in the Marlborough/ Nelson/Golden Bay area

Many Thanks

Thanks Daryl - Had a look

Thanks Daryl - Had a look there and found some interesting bits and pieces - didnt seem to cover Tasman/Golden Bay though and I couldnt find any eco communities (although I did find one in Motueka called Te Manawa - I'm sure there must be more though?)

Cheers

John

Transition in Tasman

Hi John, way out of my area, but I think if you ask at the Nelson Environment Centre you'll be pointed in the right direction. Some of the transition groups were happening out of there for a while.
Best,
Scott

Hiya John, I am a resident of

Hiya John,

I am a resident of Te Manawa Ecovillage. (And completely new to this site...) We are just a little affair up the Motueka Valley - 6 sections owned by us individually, but we also share ownership of the surrounding 60 odd hectares of regenerating native bush that we have been busy knocking off the pine trees on... Big job. What was it you were interested in particularly?
