Live in a community food forest!

Would you like to live in a organic food forest? HeartTP is gathering motivated people to join their sustainability initiative at Heartland Orchard, short or long term. Enjoy abundant organic fruit, wild and cultivated medicinal herbs, gardens, health-giving spring water, and community on one of New Zealand’s premier organic sanctuaries, only 40 minutes south of Auckland central!

If you’re looking for a room or have a house truck, caravan, yurt, or other mobile dwelling, feel free to visit. Mobile dwellings are $50pw. Amenities include electricity, bathroom, washing machine, and unlimited wireless internet. Electricity and internet costs are shared by everyone and remain low. E.g, Internet is $10 per month. Spaces are limited for now until further development of communal amenities. Wwoofing opportunities will be available early March.

HeartTP is a non profit earth repair initiative to assist people and communities who seek sustainable economic practices, permaculture farms, and open source technologies. Our long term goal is the development of a food forest network throughout Auckland, providing quality water, nutrient rich organic food, medicinal herbs, eco-housing etc. Along with transformative events, workshops and festivals.

Current and upcoming projects this year include extensive garden cultivation, construction of HeartTP’s communal kitchen, bathroom, Tipi Village, and off-grid electricity. Upcoming events include Z-Day, yoga classes, foraging courses, full moon potluck dinners, workshops, and more. Our persuit is to enjoy the transitional changes we can make now and support each other on the way.
