Sustainable communities depend upon the sustainability of our people through provision of natural health options
http://www.andrewhardwick.co.nz . Using these (and other) therapies, I enable to people to control pain, anger, stress, anxiety, obesity, smoking, alcohol and other dependencies. I also help people to sleep better, have more energy, increase their balance, mobility, posture, strength and flexibility (physical and mental flexibility). All of these enable people to become more self-sufficient, independent and to become more active within their sustainable communities.
As such, I would like to know if anyone would be interested in services/workshops in which the above skills can be taught?
Hi. I believe that sustainable living is not just limited to the sustainability of our visible resources, such as land, food, energy etc, but that it should also include the sustainability of our people through natural healthcare provision too.
My 3 decade career as a Registered Nurse taught me that the traditional "Western" Medical Model exposes populations to prescription medications which are far more dangerous even than chemically treaded foodstuffs, as well aas to surgery which is not always necessary. That's one of the reasons I stopped nursing and started to be a therapist. I notice that a number of groups in Transition Towns are addressing the re-education of people in eating natural, healthy, unprocessed food, through workshops etc. But so far i have seen little evidence of mind-body workshops which could help people to come off the prescription medications which are harmful both to them as individuals, and even to society as a whole.
This is where I would like to help. Amongst other things, I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist and a Tai Chi Instructor and owner of Andrew Hardwick Hypnotherapy
