Titirangi/Green Bay Transition Town

A Transition Town group has recently started in the Titirangi/Green Bay area.  Three meetings have been held and we currently have a list of 19 interested people.  We are excited! Fruit tree planting, Enviro Schools and kindergartens, involvement with local high schools and making personal commitments to taking actions that reduce our carbon footprints have been discussed.  At our next meeting, Tuesday 21 October, we will be developing our vision for the kind of community we want to live in.  If you are interested in getting involved please email Patrick at p.doherty@xtra.co.nz
