Green Drinks tonight in Dunedin

I am contacting you on behalf of Sustainable Dunedin City Society to ask you and your sustainability/environmental groups (Wegies, TT etc) that you belong to to support a relaunch of the Green Drinks that Matthew Bateman started so well but which has faltered since he went to Riverton.

I have spoken with the owner of St Lees who is very keen for it to continue there. We would love to get it going again and have it 'owned' by as many keen people and groups as possible

WHERE: St Lees Restaurant, Dundas St,
WHEN: Thu 5.30pm Sept 25th (every month thereafter)
WHO: Everyone interested in sustainability/environment
WHAT: Drinks, networking, creating a fun year plan for Green Drinks

At this relaunch, we are proposing that we put our heads together and form a year plan for the Green Drinks. I know its against the no agenda format of Green Drinks - but we could focus on fun things to attract people - green music, green dancing, green comedians, green famous people to have a green drink with, green groups to hear about ...

Please forward this to your own groups and networks - and to any other green-minded groups you can think of in Dunedin. We can hopefully get lots of people along and make sustainability fun and our fun sustainable!
