GreenDrinks is an opportunity to meet other likeminded people in a relaxed setting. We meet on the last Thursday of each month from 5.30pm at Filadelfios. Each month a different group hosts a theme. All interested in sustainability and the environment welcome. Please bring a friend.

This absorbing documentary focuses on 10 visionary New Zealanders who are environmentalists, seed savers, organic growers...The film, by Kathleen Gallagher was shot at spectacular locations around New Zealand and is described as inspirational (www.wickcandle.co.nz). Charge $5, goes to producers.

Rideshare workshop, Thursday 6 August, 12 - 2.30pm in the Clifford Skeggs room, Town Hall
The aim of this workshop is to help communities start their own rideshares and it would be great to have lots of people from the NEV, Opoho and Pine Hill area attending.There will be speakers from Waitati to tell us how they set up their community rideshare. They will take this target to the summit in Copenhagen in Dec.
