Tuesday 11 June beginning 7:30pm, at New Crossways, Roxburgh St. We will view the South Island half of the Emma Heke film Our Green Roadie. Emma and Connor Heke travelled NZ for 6 months in a tiny van, on a shoe-string budget to film for Our Green Roadie. The feature-length documentary is a compilation of stories and snapshots shared by these 50 NZers with eco-conscious and economically viable businesses and lifestyles. The DVD we are viewing is slightly different from the one advertised in the Mt Victoria newsletter due to technical difficulties but we have a similar one, still featuring the great biologist O E Wilson - still on biodiversity, its importance to our survival, and how much remains unknown about the number of species in the world and their importance to life.
