Transition Towns Lower Hutt is having a spring fair at the Alicetown Community Centre, 38 Victoria st, on Sunday, September 23

Probably from 11-3, rain or shine

We're letting you know early to give you the opportunity to plan a stall, help out, grow seedlings... there'll be a reminder closer to the day.

Simply Makes Cents Workshop, evening course - Lower Hutt

Its not too late to join the Hutt City Council sponsored sustainable living course at Weltec, Lower Hutt. This is an eight week course, next workshop on Thursday 2nd August 7.30 to 9.30pm. The course covers everything from veggie gardening to composting, cooking to purchasing, and insulating to water storage.
