Transition Mt Albert Visioning Event

This evening creates the opportunity for key local community members to come together and participate in a facilitated visioning process. The intention for the evening is to bring forward values, ideas, traditions and hopes for the future as Mt Albert moves forward into a time of more connection and sustainability. All interested local community members welcome.

Oakley Creek Possum Monitoring

The next two Saturday’s we are wanting volunteers to assist with our second stage of possum monitoring to add to our base-line data, with the putting out of ‘wax tags’ this Saturday (29th August), and we will be collecting them the following Saturday (5th September).

Movie Night

Come and join us for our third in a series  free inspirational movies.  This month's movie is 'Crude' - an enlightening and interesting movie about the history and use petroleum and oil.  There will be time for discussion and to continue to build community connection.  All welcome.  This evening is also an opporunity to bring excess produce or goods that may be of use or benefit to others - a chance to re-gift or contribute to others.

Mt Albert TT Steering Group Meeting

Our first Steering Group meeting is scheduled for Monday 27 April. At the meeting we will continue to make connections and work on some project ideas.  Anyone who feels they might be interested in becoming involved in a Mt Albert TT project is welcome to attend.  We look forward to seeing you there.

Mt Albert Community Movie Night

Come and join us at the Gladstone Primary School Staffroom to view the inspirational and thought provoking movie, 'The Power of Community' - a documentary about Cuba's unique response to Peak Oil. There will be time built in to mingle and meet other aware members of our community as well as discuss the movie itself.

Time: 7pm - 9:30pm.

Gold coin Koha to cover refreshments.
