Sustainable Careers
Please note change of date, sorry for any inconvenience.
“Today, more and more people want their work to be meaningful and to contribute
to the betterment of the planet. They want a career that makes use of their skills
without compromising their integrity, and they want their work to reflect their own
passion and commitment. The good news is that, as business and society increasingly
emphasize social and environmental responsibility, opportunities for career seekers
with a conscience have never been better.”
Melissa Everett – from ‘Making a living while making a difference’

I've been doing some work for the Centre for Sustainable Practice, who ran their first Graduate Diploma Course in Sustainable Practice last year out of Wanaka. They're running more courses this year and out of Raglan as well as Wanaka.
I was invited to tutor the social media block course, and then went on to give a presentation to Otago Polytechnic's heads of department on social media in higher education.
It's great to see all these options for people interested in sustainable careers.
