We are a group in Mt Eden village supporting our community, mainly the businesses, to minimise the waste that usually goes into landfill.

updated 15 Sep 2008We gathered at the Wellpark College of Natural Therapies in Grey Lynn to watch a compilation of films, edited down to get a cross-section of the issues of climate change and peak oil and to introduce the basics of Transition Towns.
We saw segments of A Crude Awakening - The Oil Crash, The Power of Community as well as a seminar talk by Rob Hopikins.
