Vanload of Opotiki Coast to Rotorua!
Submitted by Kazel on 4 July 2008 - 10:41am | updated 22 Jul 2008 | EventWe are taking a vanload of TTOC to Rotorua Green Drinks to hear Lynda Hallinan speak. We are leaving at 3.30 to arrive by 5.30. Lynda will be speaking from 6pm. There is plenty of room in the van, so contact Kazel on 3155055 to reserve a seat. Lynda Hallinan is the editor of the NZ Gardener magazine, and has been living almost entirely self-sufficiently for 18 months. Her books of gardening and cooking seasonally are a true inspiration, with so much practical advice for us in NZ.

Submitted by James Samuel on 1 July 2008 - 11:31pm | updated 01 Jul 2008 | Blog entryOur current focus
We need your community initiatives! Transition Waiheke is developing a community inventory of a wide range of Waiheke initiatives which strengthen our community. Having an inventory provides people with the opportunity to join initiatives and enables groups to network with others who have similar goals. The inventory may also reveal community resources which groups can draw on to support their work.
We would like to get your community initiative on the inventory. » Read more
