New Brighton Project is currently working on establishing NZ’s first weekly Eco Market in New Brighton

which will be launched on the 31st of October, 10am-2pm.

We are still looking for stallholders, workshop presenters and non-profit organisations who would like to be part of this exciting venture.

Food waste contributes to green-house gases

Wasting food has the obvious consequence of waste of money and waste of food. But what is less obvious is that it also contributes towards green house gas emissions. The production of food, especially in western countries, contributes to a significant amount of CO2 in the air.
