Alternative currency film - Wellington

The film is "La double face de la monnaie" (The double face of money) about alternative currency schemes in use in parts of Europe.

The film is just under an hour long , leaving plenty time for discussion and networking.

Wellington South public meeting

This public meeting is a chance to:

  • re-group and look forward for the year with a plan of next meetings etc;
  • for the Food Group to give a run down on where things are at.  (You will probably be aware, funding has been lost for this and we need to make some decisions about the orchard's progression);
  • to seek volunteers to "man/woman" the Newtown stall

Lyall Bay Festival

A fun day out for the whole family to enjoy Lyall Bay Beach! A variety of stalls, music and fun family activities.
Proceeds will go towards Miramar South School Children participating in the Surf Lifesaving Beach Education program, and scholarships to join a Surf Lifesaving Club.
